My band Los Estupidos is playing the Alberta Street Pub Saturday May 31 9pm, it's free! It's a latino soul funk cumbia, afro beat.. It's a kooky dance band! Some really great jazz players! I'm more of a rocker but it seems to work!
Antisipating getting a check soon to start my next big commission for the guy with the castle up on German town road! I've got some festival art installations I'm very excited about this summer! Oregon Country Fair, WTF?! (What the Festival), and the Center Camp Cafe at Burning Man!

-Be the squeaky wheel....
I am not sure if many of you are aware of my super powers, invisibility to attractive ladies and bartenders and the ability to win raffles like a champ.... For a while now I have been winning concert tickets from 107.1 KZME. I win every time I call to the point that they asked me to stop winning so much. Pow! Anyway, after the concert they sent an email reminding you that they live off donations. I was trying to figure out if I could donate and item, rather than money, and got into some correspondence with a station manager about it. While I had her ear, I started to talk about what we are trying to do here in Skill - PDX. She turned me on to an organization called the RACC, Regional Arts & Cultural Council. https://www.racc.org/ Their focus is to support the arts, whether it be to help get the word out about events or with a grant.... There are also classes taking place that are about helping folks get their creative businesses going. KZME, http://www.kzme.fm/events/, has an events page that also has things of interest for the art community. I believe these can be valuable resources, and wanted to post them....

The Yard, Garden, and Patio show is coming up, about a month away. Just wanted to throw out the exhibitors page on their site so that you can see the costs, better prices than the crappier show I attended; http://ygpshow.com/exhibitors.php. See how you can fit into this show. Don't be linked to the words in the name, this is a market with consumers ready buy and coming to you. The other show had a "craftsman" row, and had organic and fine woodworking furniture, metal tables, and anything crafty.... I am trying to find my way in for barter, but I know I need to be at this show. People go there to see what's new and cutting edge, so be there for them to see you....
